Who We Are
Cerulean Stables is the competition and sales entity that operates out of the beautiful Journey's End Farm in Glenmoore, PA. The team at Cerulean includes Principal Rider, Amanda Forte, and Manager Debbie Wilson. Together we have over 70 years of experience in the business and bring a unique combination of strengths to train, produce, and maintain top show jumpers and hunters that are happy, healthy, and competitive.
Amanda Forte
Amanda is the owner and principle rider of Cerulean Stables LLC, a recently established equine sales organization located in Glenmoore, PA. Beginning her riding career at the age of 4, Amanda became one of the most talented and successful junior and amateur riders of her time. Amanda has gone from National Championships in the pony hunters to Gold Medals in the North American Young Riders Championships, Grand Prixs at the age of 15, to International experience at competitions in Mexico, Brazil, and Canada.
During her undergraduate years at Brown University, Amanda won the prestigious Cacchione Cup, the highest achievement of the IHSA program. To date, Amanda holds the record for having won every national championship available, including both Alumni national titles.
Additionally, Amanda has over 10 years of business experience in the corporate world. She helped grow and manage one of the largest digital agencies based in New York City. Building and leading teams and inspiring them to produce great work was her forte in the office, but she brings that acumen to her relationships with horses and clients.
Today, as a professional, Amanda applies her unique experience to producing young horses and developing riders for success in the show ring.
Debbie Wilson
Debbie plays a vital role at Cerulean Stables, as she is involved in every aspect of horse management and training programs. As Equine Manager she supervises the care, health, fitness, and maintenance of all of our horses at home and on the road.
Debbie brings expertise from her long career that spans over 45 years and a multitude of disciplines and qualifications. From a classical beginning with the British Horse Society in England to breaking and racing babies at the track, Debbie has done it all and amassed vast knowledge and experience in the equine world. She holds a Trainers license in six states (and was the first female to do so), and now has successfully trained hunters and jumpers for over 25 years.
She has brought this experience to Cerulean Stables and has been partnering with Amanda since 2007 to make a winning combination that brings out the best in both horse and rider.
