Amanda Forte recently changed careers, leaving the corporate life in Manhattan to become a professional rider. She and HHS Louis, who was brought overseas from Ireland, competed in the $35,000 Cedar Street Grand Prix.
Amanda chats to the ladies at Bird about finding balance living in NYC and her exciting decision to follow her passion for horses full time - the birth of Cerulean Stables.
Vermont Summer Classic is a wrap, and even though Cerulean Stables only attended three out of the six weeks, we still left with two circuit champion awards - Falcon in the 1.15m division, and RIncoola Black Adder in the 1.30m.
A great week at Tryon resulted in a clean sweep of the 1.20m division with Falcon, and a win in the 1.45 classic with Rincoola Black Adder. Downton Abbey wins the 6 year old classes, too.
