2016 Season Starts Strong

Week One of the Gulf Coast Winter Classic in Gulfport, MS kicked off our 2016 show season. The horses were fresh and ready to win.

HHS Louis jumped all clear rounds in great form. He was double clear in the $10,000 Horseflight Open Welcome, finishing 6th, and double clear and 2nd in the $25,000 Foley RV Grand Prix. This marked their first top 3 placing at the Grand Prix level. Looking forward to more! Watch their round in the Grand Prix.

Additionally, Louie helped Amanda earn the Kastel Denmark Style of Riding Award. They were selected by the Gulf Coast Classic Company staff as the rider who exhibited the best American style of riding and possessed the respectful, dignified, and workmanlike manner of a true sportsman.

Other highlights of the show included:

  • Falcon won both of his classes and claimed the Championship honors for the Open Jumper 1.20m division. He also jumped clean and fast in the $7,770 Open Jumper Classic and took home a 6th place. Watch him on his way to his first win.
